Arrábida Full-Day Tour

TOUR TO PALMELA, AZEITÃO, CABO ESPICHEL, SESIMBRA AND ARRÁBIDA NATURAL PARK | Combining unspoiled nature, delicious wines, amazing landscapes, and picturesque fisherman towns.

We will start our tour visiting the castle of Palmela to feel the medieval atmosphere of the 12th century reconquest. Later we’ll drive to the small picturesque town of Azeitão, where we will have a guided tour in a traditional wine cellar, where the world-wide famous Piriquita wine is produced. If you like delicassies you'll also be delighted with the local sheep cheese and the torta de Azeitão appreciated in the whole country.

Still in Azeitão we will visit a glazed tile factory to see professional artists reproducing perfectly 18th Century glazed tiles. Afterwards, we will drive to the sanctuary of Our Lady of Cabo Espichel, home to a century-old procession, and to the picturesque fisherman town of Sesimbra, where we will have free time for lunch facing the ocean.

After lunch, it is time to explore the marvelous scenery of the Nature Park of Arrábida, home to unique species of fauna and flora, and its incredible views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Troia Peninsula.
