There is no better way to start your visit to Portugal than exploring its charming 3600-year-old-capital at a leisurely pace. With a year-round mild climate with, 260 sunny days, and numerous leisure and cultural activities, Lisbon is nowadays one of the most vibrant cities in Europe.

On this tour, you will walk through the Old Town, where Lisbon was founded, towards the traditional neighbourhoods of Mouraria, Castelo, and Alfama. Along the way, you'll be surprised by unexpected viewpoints, sightseeing sites and buildings of historic interest in every corner, while you learn about the country and city's history, the local way of life, the gastronomy, and the religious traditions when visiting the Church of Saint Anthony located in front of Lisbon's Cathedral.

Later on, and already in the Downtown area, which was rebuilt after the Earthquake of 1755, we'll go deep into the 16th Century when Lisbon became the World Capital for the Trade of Spices as you arrive at the Commerce Square. To finish the tour, we will walk in the Portuguese "las ramblas", the Augusta Street, always filled with life, until we reach the heart of the town, the Rossio Square.
